I was recently asked by What’s Up Yukon to put together a story about a set of five Yukon women who inspire me for their issue that overlapped Mother’s Day. They further pitched the idea to me that instead of sending out photographers to take pictures of the five women, that I create a series of sketches to capture them for the paper.
